NV5, a global leader providing geospatial solutions, services, and software to solve mission critical challenges, today announced it has earned requalification in Esri’s Network Management specialty designation, a recognition that partners in the Esri Partner Network (EPN) can earn based on demonstrated expertise, their customer success, and staff training. The Network Management specialty designation is the sixth specialty designation NV5 has earned from Esri. Partners that have earned the Network Management specialty have shown their expertise and capabilities specifically for Esri’s ArcGIS Utility Network. NV5 brings end-to-end geospatial solutions to bear for utility customers including water, wastewater, sewer, oil and gas, telecom, and electric.
NV5, a trusted partner for many organizations utilizing Esri’s ArcGIS Utility Network for infrastructure management and operations, has worked with more than 50 utility customers on their ArcGIS Utility Network projects, from readiness assessments to full implementations, including Charlotte Water, the largest public water and wastewater utility in North Carolina; the city of Hastings, Nebraska that serves a community of 25,000 people with all their utility needs; and the City of Mercer Island, Washington that serves the water utility needs of 25,000 residents. The company helped all three transition from geometric network to ArcGIS Utility Network. Charlotte was the first major city to be in full production with ArcGIS Utility Network.
NV5’s successful approach to ArcGIS Utility Network implementation involves evaluating existing data and operations, creating a customized success plan, and closely collaborating with clients on execution and supporting them with ongoing maintenance. Utilities of all sizes rely on NV5 to provide the knowledge of best practices to ensure maximum benefit and minimum disruption to their networks, organizations, and customers. In addition, the company helps utilities manage full enterprise GIS systems, both on premise and in the cloud.
“Esri congratulates NV5 on receiving a requalification on their Esri Network Management specialty designation, based on their expertise with network management capabilities in ArcGIS for both public and private utilities across the United States,” said Thomas Fair, Director of Esri Partner Network. “NV5 has proven themselves to Esri ArcGIS customers which is reflected in the company being a Platinum partner in the EPN and having six specialty designations.”
Since 2010, NV5 has been a Platinum partner in the EPN. Platinum partners, the highest level of the EPN program, are recognized for developing and delivering industry-leading solutions and services. The other five Esri specialty designations NV5 has earned are:
- ArcGIS Cloud Services. NV5 helps customers deploy and manage ArcGIS in cloud environments, offers system architecture design and managed services, and implements integrated ArcGIS Enterprise solutions.
- ArcGIS Indoors. NV5 helps customers leverage the capabilities of ArcGIS Indoors for facilities management and operation. These include interior facility mapping, wayfinding, asset tracking and management, resource utilization, and more.
- ArcGIS System Ready. With NV5’s Esri technology expertise and solutions, services, or content offerings for ArcGIS software, the company helps leverage the latest capabilities for customers.
- State and Local Government. NV5 has proven experience supporting State and Local Government customers to implement, manage, maintain, and extend Esri enterprise systems and application-specific tools.
- ArcGIS Online. NV5 helps customers utilize Esri’s ArcGIS Online to leverage cloud-based Esri applications, enabling robust GIS applications and collaboration through web browsers.
“Through our partnership with Esri, we see many utilities striving to enhance their operational efficiency and data accuracy. Esri’s Utility Network dramatically helps these utilities by providing a comprehensive, real-time view of their infrastructure, enabling smarter decision-making and streamlined workflows. We help by offering expert guidance and support, ensuring a smooth transition and maximizing the value of this powerful tool," said Dan Levine, NV5 Geospatial Vertical President.
NV5 will be exhibiting (booth #128) and presenting at the Esri Infrastructure Management and GIS (IMGIS) conference in Palm Springs, California, October 22-24, 2024. More information is available https://www.esri.com/en-us/about/events/imgis/overview
