Scaling the Maturity Curve – Envisioning Excellence

The Utility Imagery & Inspection Consortium (UIIC) will hold its inaugural summit this January in Phoenix, Arizona.

The UIIC Summit, with the theme Scaling the Maturity Curve - Envisioning Excellence, will be held January 17-18, 2023, at the Westin Phoenix Downtown in Phoenix, Arizona.

Fresh off the heels of the first UIIC Summer Symposium, hosted by Oncor this past August, thought leaders from the emerging Utility Imagery & Inspection space will gather for two days in Arizona to discuss topics around Asset Management, Storm Response, Vegetation Management, and Wildfire Mitigation.

Day one of the conference will feature a sponsored afternoon of workshops where utility I&I leaders will dive into challenges and best practices. Day two begins on a high note as NASA Senior Engineer Jordan Evans will share insights from his team’s various missions, including their work with the Mars Rover and how their lessons learned can be applied in the I&I space at utilities. Other key discussions include laying the groundwork for I&I programs, accelerating I&I programs, applying intelligence and predictive analytics using AI/ML, and technology demonstrations, and will conclude with a power panel made up of the UIIC Advisory Board.

The UIIC summit will benefit utility leaders and professionals responsible for maintaining and managing assets and infrastructure.  Utility attendees can expect to walk away with actionable insights that will drive improvements in reliability, safety, and financial performance.

The Summit will draw utility attendees from a global audience, including Ameren, Endeavour Energy (Australia), Essential Energy (Australia), Nova Scotia Power, and Oncor.
