Tualatin Valley Water District (TVWD) and Clean Water Services (CWS), two of the largest water utilities in Oregon, completed their transition to Open Smartflex, a cloud-based CIS solution. This important milestone marks a step forward for both companies in their path towards digital transformation of their businesses, aiming to modernize their operations to deliver a superior customer experience to their communities. 

With the support of their technology partner, Open International, and leading utility consulting firm, Esource, Tualatin Valley Water District (TVWD) and Clean Water Services (CWS) achieved the successful implementation of Open Smartflex, a modern Customer Information System (CIS). This state-of-the-art cloud-based software will improve billing processes and support a digital, multi-channel customer experience for TVWD and CWS. 

In this regard, Tom Hickmann, CEO of TVWD stated, "We are excited to move forward in our technology upgrading process and to start our operations with Open Smartflex. The implementation of Open Smartflex enables TVWD and CWS to leverage their operations with a next-generation Customer Information System (CIS) and provides them with a customer self-service platform (CSS) all in a single solution. In addition, by deploying this solution on the cloud, TVWD and CWS will have the power to focus on mission-critical processes that generate value and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
