Clarity Grid Solutions (Clarity Grid), the most robust energy data platform  on the US power grid, has completed a major addition to its existing Tariff Library. Prior to the update, the Tariff Library, which is delivered via User Interface (UI) or API, covered all US tariffs in the lower 48 states. In response to customer requests, the expanded  library now includes tariffs for all of the major Australian markets, which had previously been unavailable. Now, using data analytics tools on the  Clarity Grid platform, a customer can easily run billing simulations for commercial tariffs for all of the 13 major Australian Utilities.

The Australian power market has recently seen an unprecedented increase in prices and unusually  high demand, as the country’s primary grid electrifies and renewables become dominant. Australian  tariffs incorporate battery, solar, and feed in tariff rates which allow customers to sell electricity back to  the grid.
