Burns & McDonnell, a 100% employee-owned engineering, architecture and construction firm, has promoted Justin Sherman to serve as branch manager for its San Diego office. He is responsible for overseeing the management of daily operations and business development for critical infrastructure projects, including aviation, environmental, federal, power and more.

Since joining Burns & McDonnell in 2006, Justin has served in variety of roles. He began his career serving as a project manager and delivering power infrastructure for utility clients. In 2011, he was promoted to lead the firm’s Transmission & Distribution team in Denver, composed of 100 employee-owners. Most recently, he served as the CEO and managing director at Burns & McDonnell India, where he was responsible for the daily management and business development of the firm’s operations in India.

Sherman earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Montana State University-Bozeman and is a certified professional engineer. Burns & McDonnell has more than 250 employees in San Diego, Brea, Los Angeles and San Francisco, California.
