Utility Brief:

• Vestas Wind Systems will deliver 400 megawatts (MW) of wind turbines to two wind farms Duke Energy is building in southern Texas, the Danish company said Thursday.
• Delivery of 200 V110 2-MW turbines will begin in the first half of next year to the Los Vientos III and Los Vientos IV wind farms that are scheduled to start up in 2015 and 2016.
• The order is the largest Vestas has received in three years and its second largest ever.
