San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) has reported to the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) that 20.8 percent of its energy delivered in 2011 was from renewable energy sources. This marks a 9 percent increase in renewable power over 2010 for SDG&E, when renewable energy deliveries were only at about 12 percent -- 9 percent less than the renewable energy target the utility was supposed to hit. No other California utilities hit their targets either.
