A New York man stands accused of stealing $90,000 in electricity to power a marijuana-growing operation in West Haven, Conn., NBC Connecticut reports. 360 marijuana plants were found when 33-year-old Joel Polanco, was arrested on May 29.
That $90,000 sum falls onto the low side of the $5,000-$400,000 that individual marijuana-operations can siphon, according to an Energy Manager Today report earlier this year.
