- On. Sept 29, someone set fire to the Keo substation in Lonoke County. Those responsible carved a message into a control panel that read "YOU SHOULD HAVE EXPECTED U.S."
- On. Oct. 6, First Electric Cooperative said two of its power poles were intentionally cut, resulting in the loss of power for 10,000 customers.
- Authorities think the two incidents might be linked to the downing of a high-voltage power line on Aug. 21 in Cabot, Ark.
