Hector R. Puente, senior vice president of operations and distribution for El Paso Electric (EPE), has been promoted to senior vice president and COO.
Puente will oversee power generation, transmission and distribution, system operations, power marketing, fuels and generation planning.
Puente, who has worked at EPE for more than 30 years, has served in various capacities, including vice president of transmission and distribution, vice president of distribution operations and vice president of generation.
