The Babcock & Wilcox Power Generation Group won a contract to design and supply reheaters for three 660 MW coal-fired boilers at FirstEnergy 's Harrison Power Station in Haywood, W.Va.
Reheaters are specially designed tube bundles used to increase the temperature of steam in a boiler.
The preliminary delivery date for the first reheater is early 2014. B&W has locations worldwide and employs about 12,700 people, in addition to about 10,400 joint venture employees.
