The National Alliance for Advanced Technology Batteries (NAATBatt) is working to promote the benefits of distributed energy storage (DES) systems.
According to NAATBatt, the benefits include system regulation, integration of distributed renewable power generation, mitigation of the impact of power disruptions, transmission and distribution project deferral, and the manufacture of more convenient and less costly electric vehicles.
